Brisbane Marketing will launch their new 2010-11 planners guide and unique venues guide at AIME

Brisbane Marketing’s Director, Convention Bureau, Annabel Sullivan, said both guides capitalised on Brisbane’s branding as Australia’s new world city.

“Over the past few months Brisbane Marketing has undertaken a series of photo shoots to capture the spirit of the city, its people and the Brisbane brand,” she said.

“These guides feature some captivating images – including the “girl with the chair” from our latest advertising campaign – which help us tell the story of Brisbane and its unique qualities as a business events destination.”

Alongside great images, the Brisbane Meeting Planners’ Guide 2010-11 presents a comprehensive overview of the suppliers who help make Brisbane Australia’s new world city for meetings and conferences.

Key sections covered in the latest edition include:

• Brisbane Marketing’s Convention Bureau services;
• city facts;
• industry strengths;
• corporate social responsibility;
• venues and accommodation;
• support services;
• leisure activities; and
• wining and dining.

Sullivan said Brisbane Marketing had also created the perfect companion piece to the Meeting Planners’ Guide with its Brisbane Unique Venues Guide 2010.

“This is the capsule collection of Brisbane’s spaces and suppliers that are unique, unusual and inspiring.

“Both guides make the search for information and ideas about Brisbane’s business events offer an effortless journey and in recognition of environmental considerations we’ve printed both on FSC certified recycled paper stock and produced electronic versions which can be downloaded from our website.”
