InterContinental Hong Kong’s harbourview function rooms have undergone an extensive refurbishment offering a new look for all types of business events.

The new look is bright and refreshing, with the hotel’s unique position on Victoria Harbour serving as the design inspiration.

An evolution of the design theme used in InterContinental Ballroom, also designed by Woods Bagot Hong Kong studio, serves as the theme for the redesign of these spaces. Similar to the InterContinental Ballroom, which was renovated last year, the custom-designed carpet in the function rooms features circular patterns and motifs, representing intersecting pools of energy reflective of Victoria Harbour.

Etched patterned glass has been used to frame the Satin Walnut veneered doors, highlighting the room entrances. Bronze mirrored glass on the ceiling and side walls by the windows reflects the water currents from the harbour, creating the effect of continuous windows and opening up the already spectacular views. Shimmery champagne fabric covered wall panels with metal inlaid frames that reflect the light, add an elegant touch to the overall ambiance.

InterContinental Hong Kong’s new harbourview function rooms provide versatile venues for business and social gatherings, set against spectacular harbourviews.
