Urban Purveyor Group and Starlight Children’s Foundation have buddied up to raise money.

The cocktail event, titled ‘Urban Stars – A Magical Night for Starlight’, is tipped to raise $250,000 to support hospitalised kids and their families around NSW.

Held on September 8 from 6:30pm, The Argyle will transform into a magical wonderland showcasing magicians, aerialists, stilt-walkers and spectacular light displays. A star-studded list of Sydney talent, DJs and live performers will entertain guests, while a silent auction will encourage patrons to dig deep. The evening will be hosted by Jason ‘Jabba’ Davis, a multi award-winning broadcaster, performer, writer and ARIAs host.

Urban Purveyor Group culinary director Martin Heierling and corporate executive chef Damien Brassel have developed an enticing menu including tuna tataki and jamon iberico and manchego, a ceviche ice bar showcasing kingfish and pickled jalapeno, scallops and leche de tigre and Ecuadorian prawn and tomato ceviche, a hot station serving paella, frosted kobe fried rice and steamed dumplings, all topped off with a live doughnut station for dessert.
