Dorsett Melbourne has officially opened within the city’s brand new $2.4 billion West Side Place development, neighbouring The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne, which opened in the same precinct last month.

Situated at 615 Little Lonsdale Street, at the southern end of Melbourne CBD, the property is within close proximity to Southern Cross Station, Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre, and the Docklands precinct including Marvel Stadium.

It offers 316 guest rooms across eight levels and caters superbly to corporate travellers with well thought out amenities, such as an executive lounge with private check-in and check-out, two hours complimentary meeting space, and food and beverage service throughout the day and evening.

There are five modern and adaptable spaces suitable for small to medium sized meetings, conferences and events, each featuring natural light and the latest technology, including hybrid connections. A dedicated event planner is also on hand to ensure a seamless experience.

Executive chef, Julio Martinez of Dining Concepts has designed a range menus with sustainability front of mind, specialising in local Victorian ingredients.

All Day Dining offers breakfast, a seafood menu for dinner and a private dining space for special occasions in addition to outdoor dining.

Other amenities include two bars, club lounge, fitness area with state-of-the-art Techno-Gym equipment, an indoor heated pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

Dorsett Melbourne is the second Dorsett hotel in Australia, following the opening of Dorsett Gold Coast in December 2021.
