The Mothership is a purpose-built solar powered houseboat created especially for touring the pristine waters of the Hawkesbury, an area less that an hour’s travel from the Sydney CBD.
Regardless of the weather, operators guarantee a good experience as The Mothership’s large interior means that even in the worst weather, people still have plenty of room to move around.
Owner Tim Knox said, “This is a boat that gets people scratching their head and smiling. It’s wonderful being so comfortable and yet being afloat. She’s a boat that helps us understand that we can think differently.”
The Mothership offers skippered excursions with or without catering and is available for hire for small weddings, special birthdays, corporate days and even artist’s days out. The vessel is licensed to carry twelve passengers and two crew.
