One of Sydney’s oldest pubs has undergone an extensive renovation and is under new management.
The Frisco Hotel in Woolloomooloo has a new interior that pays homage to the location’s rich navy legacy with a chic fit out by award-winning interior architects Alexander & Co., specialists in heritage refurbishment. The site features exposed brick, wall tiling, leather banquettes, solid wooden floors, an all-new ground floor communal bar and nautical accents. The venue seats 140 people.
The hotel also has a new head chef named David Park who has created refined bar snacks and share plates including signature dishes like mini lobster rolls with celery, lemon mayo and chives, tempura fish tacos with avocado, pickled ginger and nam jim sauce in a lettuce cup, and grilled miso salmon with shiitake and enoki mushrooms and chef’s signature miso sauce.
The Frisco Hotel is located at 46 Dowling Street, Woolloomooloo NSW.
