INVNT to deliver TEDxSydney for 10th anniversary year

The agency will design and produce the Sydney event for the second year in a row.

Global experiential agency INVNT will deliver TEDxSydney 2019, marking the 10-year anniversary of the event.

INVNT will be tasked with designing and producing the event, which will embrace the theme of ‘Legacy’, plus all creative concepting, technical production and AV.

Laura Roberts, managing director of INVNT APAC, welcomed the partnership for the second year in a row.

“From its commitment to sustainability to passion for educating, informing and celebrating individuals from all walks of life, we love all that TEDxSydney stands for,” she said.

“We’re very excited to be producing the event again this year, and are committed to working with the TEDxSydney team and fellow event partners to make this very special 10-year anniversary celebration an experience to remember.”

In 2019, INVNT will also design and produce The Hub, a dedicated area for attendees to interact between sessions.

The team will curate a number of educational and thought-provoking activations within the space, showcasing creatives, foodies, eco-warriors, technologists, artists and experts, plus an activation from INVNT which will highlight the power of storytelling.

TEDxSydney founder Remo Giuffre said he is thrilled to team up with INVNT again for the 2019 event.

“Working with the INVNT agency in 2018 was a dream – nothing seemed to daunt the team as they infused their signature ‘challenge everything’ mantra into all aspects of the award-winning experience, and approached every challenge with both supreme competence and a welcome sense of calm,” he said.

“We exceeded a number of our objectives last year, including being a sell-out event attracting over 5000 attendees – making it the biggest TEDxSydney yet.

“I am confident that with INVNT’s support, and the support of our many other valued partners, we will continue to kick goals in 2019 and beyond.”

TEDxSydney will take place on 24 May 2019 at ICC Sydney.
