A new international event has launched focusing on the challenges that event venues face in managing the increasing technology demands of customers.

Industry veterans Paul Woodward and Simon Burton have combined forces to launch the Smart Venue Summit which will run for the first time in Bangkok on 25 – 26 May 2017.

“Every venue manager, whether building new facilities or upgrading existing ones, knows that implementing the right technologies will be one of the keys to achieving competitive advantage in the future. There is nowhere at the moment where the CTOs, CIOs, operations services directors or their bosses can come together to get a better understanding of how to manage this challenge,” said Woodward.

The two day event, featuring technology demonstrations and site visits, will take place at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) in its new conference facilities. The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is supporting the event.

Program details are now being finalised and will be announced shortly. Click here for more information.
