The Grounds of Alexandria in Sydney has just opened its newest venue, The Lock-In, a prohibition-style liquor den hidden within The Potting Shed Bar and Eatery.

Squirrelled away behind a huge door that guests are given a key to, The Lock-in comes complete with its own bartender and a ‘lock-up’ of world class small-batch spirits where regular guests can keep their good gear.

The Grounds of Alexandria co-director Ramzey Choker said,“We created The Lock-In as a place guests can enjoy without being disturbed. A place where they can escape their everyday
lives – drink, eat, and experience a whole lot of banter.”

The food offering will be fittingly suave to suit the room and atmosphere with three irresistible dining options to choose from. ‘The Potting Mix’ will see diners take their time and indulge in their choice of The Potting Shed menu delights from jumbo prawns, to chargrilled lamb cutlets, pulled pork or holmbrae chicken and more. As a second option, ‘A Fine Feast’, sees the wait staff personally prepare a mouthwatering feasting table for all to share including an enviable selection of meats, salads and loads more. Thirdly, the ‘Master & Chef’ offering takes things to a whole new level with guests enjoying their own private chef serving them with everything you could ask for, also including a delightful range of fresh locally sourced seafood.

The Lock-In is available for hire for functions and events, is open Monday through to Sunday and fits 20 people seated and 40 people cocktail style.

The Lock-In is located at the Grounds of Alexandria, 7A/2 Huntley St, Alexandria, NSW.
