The Song Slam

Teambuilding company Song Division has launched a new product called The Song Slam.

The way it works is that teams of up to 15 people work with Song Division musicians to write an original song that they then perform it in a ‘battle of the bands’ showdown.

According to a Song Division statement, ‘No one needs a musical bone in their body and nobody has to sing on their own. It’s karaoke-on-steroids. It’s not about having perfect pitch. It’s about having a blast with your crew, getting close with your clients, being creative, being competitive, being outrageous, being a rock god, if only for a few hours.’

The way The Song Slam differs from Song Division’s regular product offering is that it is a regular event that can cater for up to five teams per session. It’s a flat fee of $2000 per team and teams can go up against other teams from the same industry i.e. ad agency vs ad agency, law firm vs law firm, etc.

The Song Slam will be a regular event held in a central venue that teams can opt into at their discretion .

The Song Slam is initially being rolled out in Las Vegas, Sydney and London with more cities to come soon.
