WATCH: AIME Gala by Showtime Event Group

In February, Showtime Event Group rolled out the red carpet for Melbourne Convention Bureau’s Uncover Melbourne Gala at the 2020 Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Event (AIME).

Showtime partnered with the bureau for the third consecutive year as the exclusive caterer for the gala, which showcased Melbourne to an international and local audience of event buyers.

Guests were welcomed at the steps of the State Library Victoria with show-stopping entertainment by Solution Entertainment, before entering the venue where the event continued in Ian Potter Queens Hall.

The space, which re-opened in December 2019, was styled by Harry the Hirer with a mix of black and gold, combined with heritage furniture.

“As a strategic partner of the MCB and the exclusive caterer and event partner to the State Library, this is an amazing opportunity to demonstrate what we can do for the business events market, a sector that Showtime Event Group heavily invests in,” said Showtime general manager Brad Dabbs.

Entertainment during the night included a gospel choir, performers in the sky and Melbourne band, The Huxleys.

Showtime’s menu included roving canapes, an Aussie cheese station, a make-your-own salad bar and an oyster station.
