Australia’s largest Urban music festival, Supafest returns in April

SpiceNews caught up with Supafest director, John Denison for a quick chat about the event, which drew in crowds of over 65,000 in its launch year following the success of similar events such as their Winterbeatz and Summerbeatz events, which are predominantly indoor events, he says.

“The most challenging aspect of Supafest is that it’s an all age event,” said Denison. “So we have a cross section of kids all ages coming along and we try to ensure that everyone has a great time in the safest possible environment.”

“Also unlike other festivals we ensure that every punter sees every artist perform back to back over a 10 hour day, so there is no way you can miss out on seeing any artist.”

Supafest will take place in Sydney (ANZ Stadium), Perth (Joondalup Arena), Brisbane (RNA Showgrounds) and Melbourne (Melbourne Showgrounds).
