After a fabulous night of flying chips and spinning roulettes, Scope Productions has declared their recent fundraising event ‘Play for a Cure’ night an outstanding success for their client Save Our Sons.

Scope once again hosted the impressive Casino Royale at Sydney’s Australian Technology Park for the charity.

The event transformed Sydney’s ATP into a Casino Royale.

Australian entertainment and sporting royalty played in the Celebrity Poker Challenge including Ada Nicodemou, Samantha Jade, Mikey Robins, Amanda Keller, Anthony Mundine, Joe Hashem, Anthony Minichiello to name a few.

Former world champion boxer and Save Our Sons ambassador Jeff Fenech was also amongst the celebrity guests, Jeff was specially thanked on the night for supporting Save Our Sons as his charity on the Celebrity Apprentice 2013.

A live performance by Australian X Factor’s Justice Crew was a highlight of the night.

The Scope team worked tirelessly to create an awe-inspiring atmosphere, 56 poker tables divided the intimately draped VIP rooms while blackjack, roulette and craps tables added the finishing touches to the spectacular ‘ Casino Royale’ scene for 1,200 guests.

A live performance by Australian X Factor’s Justice Crew was a highlight of the night while catering was supplied by Laissez Faire with live food stations scattered around the venue.

Over $130,000 was raised for Save Our Sons, a charity raising funds for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), an aggressive muscle degeneration disorder found almost entirely in males. DMD currently has a 100% mortality rate and no cure. All donations and money raised goes towards ongoing research into DMD and clinical trials.
