Forget The Venue, We’re Partying In The Truck

A regular feature on Brisbane Marketing’s famils, Moreton Hire once again impressed the city’s visiting guests with an event held in the back of a Pantech truck – also known as the semi with style.

On arriving at the Murarrie showroom, the Moreton Hire team led guests away from the front door and ignoring their trepidation, took them up a ramp and into the storage carrier of a semi-trailer.

The large group of organisers and events professionals, mostly from Sydney, were suitably impressed with the chic surrounds and twist on creating a stylish venue.

Manager of client relations, Julie O’Donovan, said the event was testament to the innovative thinking at Moreton Hire and the company’s commitment to delivering memorable events.

“Moreton Hire’s design, furniture and audio visual teams spent a day transforming the unorthodox space into a smart venue with colour and flair – the end result being a very funky tapas style bar serving the evening’s signature Limelight cocktails.

“Our big idea to impress a crowd who has ‘seen it all’ was a success with a surprising number of enquiries on the night regarding the stylish truck’s availability,” O’Donovan said.

The Brisbane Marketing famil was a prime example of how Moreton Hire can create a stunning event with a small budget.

The remarkable event was inspiration to the evening’s guests and a demonstration of how the events industry is still evolving with new and ‘out of the box’ concepts.
