Valiant launches new furniture hire line to improve event ESG outcomes

The items are 100 percent made from post-consumer recycled and reformed plastics.

Australian-owned carbon-neutral furniture hire and styling company, Valiant, has launched three new eco-friendly furniture ranges available for rent by event companies looking to boost their sustainability initiatives.

The high-end, circular economy-driven furniture items are designed for work and event space interiors and have been 100 percent made from post-consumer recycled and reformed plastics.

“We’ve combined contemporary design and innovative furniture developed with the planet in mind,” Valiant managing director, Brian Lindeman, said.

“As Australia’s first 100 per cent carbon offset furniture hire and styling company, we are actively closing the loop via a circular economy, and have carefully considered the lifecycle of each product and how they have been created”.

The three new ranges are:

ReforaStone
The ReforaStone range has a terrazzo appearance that is both stylish and eco-friendly. It has been crafted from 100 per cent post-consumer recycled plastics that have been chipped down, melted, and reformed into furniture, and is manufactured locally in Australia.

Selena Lounging
The directional, yet simple style of the Selena lounge range makes it versatile as well as stylish. Each Selena two-seater sofa’s luxe fabric is crafted from 720 recycled plastic bottles while Selena occasional chairs are crafted from 280 plastic bottles per chair.

Chloe Dining Chairs and Bar Stools
Each Chloe dining chair is made from 106 plastic bottles, with the design featuring a blend of contemporary sophistication and timeless charm.

Valiant is a fully carbon-neutral organisation, minimising its reliance on extraction, production, distribution and disposal and instead focusing entirely on what it can source through the circular economy. Since July 1, 2022, it has offset over 802.6 TCO2, which is the equivalent of 13,565 shipping containers worth of waste.
