“It’s a pivotal time in the event space, and it’s important now more than ever to engage and connect. The event environment has changed a lot over the last two years, so it’s a good time to shake things up, a little disruption is healthy. But it’s also important to build on a solid foundation of what works for the audience.”

Collins said she is especially excited about learning and understanding the market and working collaboratively the across the group.

“I am looking forward to nurturing, enhancing and growing the portfolio of events along with my new team. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into the role and collaborate with key stakeholders, to strategically and creatively bring ideas and a vision to life through transformative events.

“They say if you love your job, you’ll never work a day in your life. To that end, it’s been 22 years of paid employment and I’ve rarely worked a day in my life.”
