Perth Convention Bureau rebrands

The organisation has unveiled its new name and identity.

Perth Convention Bureau has rebranded to Business Events Perth, signifying a new era for the organisation.

Speaking at AIME 2020 in Melbourne today, 18 February, Business Events Perth CEO Gareth Martin said the new name reflects a new identity and a new strategy to attract events and conferences to Western Australia.

“I am delighted to launch our new business name and identity, Business Events Perth, which, in a world focussed on growth and opportunity, more accurately defines modern day conferences, tradeshows and corporate events,” he said.

Martin highlighted significant changes Perth has seen in recent years, including the new waterfront precinct at Elizabeth Quay, the opening of Ritz-Carlton Perth, the launch of the 60,000 seat Optus Stadium and a range of new international and domestic direct flights.

“Put simply, it has never been a better time to bring your delegates to Perth,” said Martin.
