New property designed exclusively for corporate groups opens on Mornington Peninsula

The private retreat is designed to nurture collaboration, creative thinking and connection away from the traditional workplace.

A new boutique property designed exclusively for business groups has opened in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.

A first of its kind in Australia, The Cambium is retreat-style space which encourages professional groups away to collaborate, create, strategise and connect away from the traditional workplace.

Situated on a spacious four-acre property bordered by the Ferntree Gully Endeavour National Reserve, The Cambium offers corporate groups exclusive use of the entire site for the duration of their stay, giving teams a chance to gather in a relaxed yet professional private sanctuary.

Featuring a communally-minded design throughout, the property is made up of accommodation (11 newly refurbished suites), premium business venue spaces (boardroom, multipurpose hall, loft in converted stables), and a grand dining room with garden views and an adjoining courtyard. The unique outdoor spaces feature fire pits, a harvest garden, barbecue area, and multi-purpose courtyards, making the space ideal for corporate retreats, incentives, team-building and private events.

The concept is driven by founders Sally and Damien Marasco, who together hold years of experience in project and stakeholder management, major events, strategic planning and construction.

“This property is a unique sanctuary, so close to Melbourne CBD but offering the great escape. We wanted to provide businesses with the opportunity to experience this, find momentary respite from the traditional workplace, embrace the environment, explore and grow,” Sally said.

Located in Red Hill, on the Mornington Peninsula, The Cambium is a 60-minute drive from Melbourne city and an 80-minute drive from Melbourne Airport, with an array of vineyards, restaurants, golf courses, nature trails and beaches at its doorstep.
