Applications close soon for disability-related conference grants

Applications for the Australian Government’s National Disability Conference Initiative (NDCI) grant will close 1 February 2022.

The Australian Federal Government is inviting conference organisers to apply for grant funding under the National Disability Conference Initiative (NDCI) 2022-23, with applications closing 1 February 2022.

The $315,000 NDCI is delivered as part of Australia’s Disability Strategy and the grants will provide support for conference organisers to assist people with disability to participate in nationally focused, disability-related conferences in Australia.

Eligible organisations and conference organisers can apply for grants of up to $10,000, which will go towards providing accessibility measures to enable conference participation and inclusion of people with disability.

To be eligible, conference organisers must confirm they will hold a disability-related and nationally-focused conference in Australia in the 2022–23 financial year. They must not be receiving, or applying for, funding from another government source for the same event. Further terms and conditions can be found online.
