Thailand welcomes Novotel Chiang Mai

The hotel blends French hospitality with Thai Lanna culture, for which the city is renowned.

Novotel has made its debut in Thailand’s Rose of the North, with the opening of Novotel Chiang Mai Nimman Journeyhub.

Located in the heart of Nimman area, the hotel features 202 rooms and suites, an all-day dining outlet, rooftop swimming pool and pillar-less ballroom.

General manager Cedric Lafargue said the team is delighted to offer a space for guests and locals to “have a drink, grab a bite to eat, work, play or just relax”.

“The hotel lies at the crossroads of French hospitality and fascinating Thai Lanna culture for which the city is renowned,” he said.

With capacity for up to 240 event delegates, the hotel features four meeting rooms and a pillar-less ballroom that overlooks the tranquil garden atrium.

The signature all-day dining restaurant Food Exchange serves a range of authentic northern Thai and international cuisine.

Meanwhile, light bites are available at Gourmet Bar, set in the hotel’s garden alfresco atrium, and the Rooftop Pool Bar offers the best seats in the house for a sundowner.

A fitness centre and rooftop swimming pool is also available to guests.

Some of Chiang Mai’s most exciting lifestyle and shopping centres are within walking distance from the hotel, including Maya Lifestyle Mall, One Nimman Mall, Think Park Mall and Rin Kham Night Market.

Also located a short stroll from the hotel is Wua Lai Walking Street which opens on Saturday nights and the Wororot Night Market.
