The Perth central business district’s burgeoning bar and restaurant scene is continuing to make its mark as the place to be with the latest addition to the city precinct, The Butterworth Bar & Kitchen.

Located on the ground floor of Exchange Plaza, in the heart of St George’s Terrace, this new bar, restaurant and café boasts a contemporary menu, an impressive wine list, cocktails and coffee.

The Butterworth Bar & Kitchen’s interior features a mix of vintage and modern, wood and glass providing stylish defined areas for the restaurant, cocktail bar and café so guests can choose the space to suit their mood.

Keith Ashley, The Butterworth Bar & Kitchen’s director said his intimate restaurant offers an exciting menu, extensive local and international wine list and uncompromising service.

“You can relax at the bar and sip your way through our enticing cocktail menu or catch up over coffee in our café, utilising our free WIFI,” Ashley said.
“Our award-winning head chef Damien Young has created a modern menu which is both sophisticated and approachable, using fresh in-house artisanal food, from home-smoked meats to unique sauces. Seasonality and quality produce combined with simple, clean flavours, assured techniques and innovative combinations make Damien’s food unique.

“The cocktail bar offers daisies, fixes, fizzes, old fashioned, sours and sazeracs – all made to The Butterworth Bar & Kitchen’s exacting standards. House-made bitters and enhancers ensure the drinks here will be unlike anything else in Perth.

The Butterworth Bar & Kitchen also has the facilities to host functions for corporate and social gatherings for 60 sit-down or 250 for a cocktail-style function.
