Sydney hospitality group The Venues Collection is reopening the doors to Orso Bayside, a waterfront event venue on the harbour at The Spit, Mosman.

After being closed for six months, the renovated venue now features a new pitch roof-line with exposed frame, refreshed restrooms, a new bar and entry hallway.

The venue is expecting to host its first guests later this month for a wedding.

Julie Castorina, events executive at Orso Bayside, said it’s been an exciting journey watching the venue’s transformation.

“We’ve stripped out the entire core of the venue and created a beautiful new fresh contemporary look that frames the harbour views and creates a stylish setting for our clients’ events,” she said.

In addition to the main events space that accommodates 240 people, Orso Bayside now also has a new private dining room suitable for smaller events with up to 60 guests.

The venue’s simple colour palette offers a fresh base for personalised styling and theming.

Adjustable lighting features have also been incorporated in the fit-out to allow for different moods depending on the event.
