Major refurbishment for Adina Town Hall in Sydney

Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Town Hall is set for a multimillion-dollar refurbishment that will commence in mid-April 2024.

The 27-storey hotel in the Sydney CBD – which features cityscape views, four conference spaces, a pool, gym and 145 apartments from studio size to three-bedroom offerings – will shut down operations from 16 April, 2024, until renovations are complete in December the same year.

“This major-scale project represents a huge repositioning of the asset, and supports our contemporary vision for the Adina brand,” says TFE Hotels’ group chief operating officer, Chris Sedgwick.

“Elevating the Adina brand and hotel experience across our network is our goal – city by city and hotel by hotel.

“Adina Town Hall – which launched in 1998 – is the latest in the TFE Hotels portfolio to undergo an extensive update as part this rolling refurbishment program.

“Sydney is a massive focus for us in 2024 with Adina in Darling Harbour also in our sights. It’s an exciting time for TFE Hotels and our homegrown Adina Hotels brand.”

Sustainable design firm Bates Smart is at the helm of the hotel’s new interior design, with its aim being to create a home-away-from-home experience for guests, with a touch of casual elegance.

The completed guest rooms will look and feel like contemporary long-stay apartments, and lighting will be a key design element.

Adina Town Hall is owned by TOGA Group.
