DoubleTree Flinders Street reveals Level 14

The Melbourne property now offers seven new luxe rooms on its top level.

DoubleTree by Hilton – Flinders Street is bringing a new luxe offering to Melbourne with the redevelopment of the hotel’s top floor.

The newly launched Level 14 sees the hotel’s expansive penthouse transformed into seven new hotel rooms.

Guests exit the elevator into a compressed, warm lobby which leads to three loft-style suites, one king and king accessible room, plus one king room and one suite both with balconies that capture cityscape views.

General manager Garry Lucas said the rooms are individually configured to offer flexibility and modern comfort for guests.

“At DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne – Flinders Street we are passionate about embracing the unique and local character of our city,” he said.

“The design of Level 14 creatively encapsulates this philosophy by celebrating Melbourne’s bold yet reserved identity with one-off contemporary detailing and considered style.”

Reimagined by leading Melbourne designers and architects Woods Bagot and iWolff Atelier, the rooms feature high-end joinery, such as original exposed red beams in the loft rooms, and opulent furnishings including mustard velvet chairs.
