First look: The Clubhouse at Ulu

Laid-back luxury and 1950s California style is the inspiration for this island retreat.

A new eclectic style of accommodation is about to land in Bali, Indonesia, as The Clubhouse at Ulu prepares to open its doors.

Boutique hospitality company M. Group will launch the new property in September, as a sister hotel to Ulu Cliffhouse beach club.

The Clubhouse at Ulu is a collection of seven suites, each designed with laid-back luxury and 1950s California style in mind.

Ben Jones, CEO of M. Group, said the property offers guests an “incredible experience to stay atop the cliff tops of Uluwatu, while benefiting from service that is consistently warm, discreet and bespoke”.

While the boutique property is destined to be a hit with leisure travellers, it will also be ideal for small group retreats and incentive groups.

After being welcomed by their dedicated Clubhouse ‘host’ upon arrival, guests will have exclusive use of a private members’ lounge, a Clubhouse bar and in-suite or poolside spa treatments.

They will also be able to access Ulu Cliffhouse, which includes a 25-metre infinity pool and dining outlets.
