Queensland’s LOUD Events has helped O’Phee Trailers win Trade Stand of the Year at Australia’s premier transport industry event, the 2009 Truck and Machinery Show, thanks to a display that included live welders and digital signage.

The winning expo stand, produced by Queensland’s Loud Events.

Held in every second year in Brisbane at the RNA showgrounds, the event attracts over 40,000 attendees in the transport industry throughout both the Commercial Vehicle Industry Association and the Construction and Mining Equipment Industry Groups.

This year major manufacturers pulled out all stops with larger displays than previously including Western Star, MAN, Scania and Paccar Trucks. Loud events’ win, was placed ahead of both national and international exhibition companies delivering for over 300 exhibitors.

“We are extremely proud of our team and all of the hard work they put into this project and are privileged to have had the opportunity to work with such a fantastic hands-on client,” said one of Loud events two directors, Marianne Edmonds who together with Helena Marshall owns and operates the company.

The event company worked closely with the O’Phee family as well as a team of carpenters, steel workers and large format printers from design to production of the winning stand which included digital information boards, branded flooring and custom built signage with live action welders to draw attention to the stand.

“Sharon and Mick O’Phee expect a stand which not only showcases their products and services but stands out from the crowd,” said Edmonds. “A well designed display means increased sales and a better return on their investment.”
