Flinders University in South Australia welcomes a new restaurant and function centre.
The Alere Function Centre provides an adaptable space, perfectly suited for hosting corporate cocktail and dinner events. Equipped with the latest technology in audio visual equipment, Alere function centre offers versatile seating plans for workshops, training sessions, conferences and seminars.
The menu, created by executive chef Paul Baker and head chef Kyle Wood, focuses on seasonal vegetables, grains and herbal ingredients incorporating fresh and ethically farmed produce. A balance is created between valued traditional cooking techniques and contemporary styling. Complementing the dining experience is the innovative wine list including an exciting selection of biodynamic, organic and minimal intervention wines, craft beers, and botanically inspired cocktails.
The restaurant can fit 100 and 150 standing and the function centre can fit 250 standing and 180 seated when both spaces are joined. The northern room can fit 120 standing and 60 seated, and the southern room can fit 120 standing and 80 seated.
The university has ticketed onsite parking but arrangements can be made for group with prior notice.
