Europe For $1679 With Scandinavian Airlines

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) has released special business and economy class fares to over 40 European cities from $1679.


Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is offering a ‘great bargain sale’ for Australians to travel to Europe with just released special business and economy class fares to over 40 European cities including Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki via SAS’ hub Copenhagen.

For sale from now until August 31, 2009, a special business class fare from $4,849 is available ex-Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, via Bangkok, for departures until December 31, 2009. A special economy class fare from $1,679 is available for travel via Bangkok or Tokyo and includes departures ex-Cairns.

“Our special fares and strong currency gives a great advantage for both holiday makers and business travellers heading to Europe these days,” said Scandinavian Airlines General Manager – Australia and New Zealand, Lars Olofsson.

“It’s never been a better time to visit Scandinavia and make the most of the region which has become easier on the travel budget, with the Australian dollar also considerably stronger against the Scandinavian currencies,” he said.

Complimentary transit packages are available between flights in Bangkok or Tokyo for those passengers having international flight connections of six hours or more. Packages include quality accommodation and transfers between airport and hotel.
