Trees Adventure has opened its largest high ropes adventure park in Yarramundi, NSW, perfect for team building events.

Located on the Grose River in the Hawkesbury region, just an hour’s drive from Sydney, the Grose River Park joins the highly successful Victoria-based park as the latest attraction in the group.

With over 110 different challenges and activities, some as high as 25 metres from the ground, the park is the largest ever built in Australia.

It offers six levels of difficulty, from beginner to extreme adventurer, combining fun with personal fitness challenges. There are also a number of sheltered picnic areas where non-participants can view the course in action.

Co-owner and course designer Nic Dansin said the company was looking forward to hosting a diverse range of groups.

“We are continually amazed by the variety of participants at our parks from kids to personal trainers looking for unique challenges to corporate team building and leadership groups! And the Park is located on one of the alternative touring routes into the Blue Mountains region providing an ideal opportunity for visitors to combine stunning nature and adventure experiences in one trip,” Dansin said.

“We have been overwhelmed by the interest in our Victorian park and look forward to welcoming people to Yarramundi, it is an amazing site completely different to Belgrave. It is much bigger and located beside the Grose River, the course stretches over 400 meters through 100 year old river gums.”

Dansin also said that visitor safety and preserving the environment are of most importance to the company.

“User safety and protecting the environment are our 2 primary goals; both of our sites have been carefully selected and surveyed by arborists to ensure tree health and ongoing wellbeing. Our safety procedures, inductions and harnessing are state of the art and at the leading edge of international standards,” he said.
