Auckland hotel set for $12 million makeover

The renovations will see the hotel increase its room count by almost 50% by early next year.

Nesuto Stadium Apartment Hotel Auckland has announced a multi-million-dollar renovation is underway to increase inventory at the property by almost 50 per cent.

The NZ$12.5 million (approximately AU$11.7 million) project will see the Auckland Stadium property increase from currently 100 rooms to 244 rooms by January 2020.

To do this, the hotel will transform 72 two-bedroom apartments into 144 hotel rooms.

All guest rooms will be refurbished as part of the redevelopment, while the lobby and communal areas will be updated and the hotel’s complimentary Wi-Fi services upgraded.
