Surf Dive n Ski hosts ‘Broken Bones’ event

Clothing retailer Surf Dive 'n' Ski hoisted their fourth Broken Bones Demo event last Thursday at Sydney's Warringah Mall as a kickoff to Bowl-a-Rama, held last weekend in Bondi Beach.


Clothing retailer Surf Dive ‘n’ Ski hoisted their fourth ‘Broken Bones’ Demo event last Thursday (23 February) at Sydney’s Warringah Mall as a kickoff to the Vans Bowl-a-Rama Bondi, held last weekend in Bondi Beach.

 

The Surf Dive N Ski Broken Bones event took place inside Sydney’s Warringah Mall, atrtacting crowds or young skate fans.

The event featured skateboarding favourites such as Corbin Harris, Bucky Lasek, Sergie Ventura, Rune Glifburg, Shane Azar, Jack Fardel and more.

Featured Aussie skater Corbin Harris and other key skateboarding identities of the world got together to show their best tricks on a mini ramp and sign autographs for their admiring young fans.

The event kicked on into the evening to the Broken Bones Party held at the Beach Road Hotel in Bondi and included skate demonstartions, performances by Redcoats, The Faders DJs as well as the unveiling of Corbin Harris’ latest pro board.

The Vans Bowl-a-Rama event celebrates the culture of skateboarding with a range of events taking place in the lead up to the official competiton.

“We have worked very hard to ensure that Australia has a place on the international stage with Vans Bowl-a-Rama Bondi and now we are there we want to ensure that it works hard for Australian skaters,” said  Frontside Events director, Chad Ford.

“We now have a clear pathway for Australian riders to literally come from nowhere and earn their way onto the international tour and make a living by qualifying through Hurley ABC and going on to compete at Vans Bowl-a-Rama Bondi.”
