Leggera Bites launches at Sticky Bar

Leading Italian beer Peroni Leggera, is sharing the authentic Italian ritual of Aperitivo with Sydneysiders with the help of stylish Surry Hills venue, Sticky Bar with the launch of Leggera Bites last week (April 19).

Aperitivo, a tradition dating back to the 1700’s combines delicious small-plate food with refreshing alcoholic drinks during the early evening as a relaxing prelude to dinner.

Guests included Lieschen Pogue (Underbelly 3), Alex Zabotto-Bentley, Allanah Zitserman (filmmaker), Stavros Kazantzidis, Kellee Cruse, Michael Fantuz (Sticky Bar/ Table for 20 owner), Peroni VIP’s and Peroni executives.

The new weekly event Leggera Bites will allow guests to enjoy the true Italian experience with Sticky Bar cuisine complimented low carb Peroni Leggera.

“In Italy Aperitivo time has significance, it symbolises the end of a day and the beginning of what the night can bring. Sticky Bar and Peroni are proud to share this tradition with Sydney,offering quality Italian fare and beer to patrons each week,” said Sticky Bar founder, Michael Fantuz.

Leggera Bites at Sticky Bar, located above Table for 20 (also founded by Fantuz) will provide a relaxing environment open to the general public, enabling guests to enjoy Aperitivo in Italian style for just $12.00 per person.
