Tourism New Zealand has launched its first 100% Pure New Zealand global campaign post-pandemic, targeting business events planners seeking to hold meaningful events in a destination that is far from generic.
Through a dedicated suite of assets, the ‘If You Seek’ campaign showcases the authentic experiences, people and places that make hosting a business event in Aotearoa New Zealand memorable and rewarding.
From traditional Māori pōwhiri welcomes and venues set amongst native forest to exhilarating jet boat rides that transport delegates between activities and brand new world-class convention centres, the campaign offers an inspiring sneak peek of what’s on offer.
“Aotearoa New Zealand is a place for those who pursue meaningful connections with culture, people, and the environment,” Tourism New Zealand chief executive René de Monchy said.
“Those curious visitors are rewarded with a rich experience of our beautiful country and are met with manaakitanga – a deep expression of hospitality and reciprocal understanding/connection. These are visitors who we think will explore more deeply and ultimately contribute to New Zealand’s tourism sector in ways beyond the economic benefit.”
Tourism New Zealand’s General Manager New Zealand & Business Events, Bjoern Spreitzer says for the Business Events market that means more transformational experiences.
“It’s an emphasis on Return on Objective that adds value to an event already packed with amazing activities, innovative content and stunning scenery,” Spreitzer said.
