The South West Sydney Tourism Taskforce (SWST) and Western Sydney Tourism NSW have launched the Western Sydney Tourism Awards to kick off in 2024.
The groups are calling for nominations across a number of categories to support and enter the inaugural awards as a way of further activating the visitor economy ahead of the arrival of the Western Sydney International Airport.
The SWST has showcased destinations across the region for seven years and promotes visitor market and tourism opportunities.
Tourism businesses and organisations across South West and Western Sydney are encouraged to enter the awards aimed at shining a spotlight on the area’s tourism offerings.

– Campaign Award 2024, Hotels/Tourism Business
– Events Campaign Award, Councils
– Business Event/Festival of the Year
– Tour Group Experience of the Year
– Best Visitor Economy Event, Day Visitation
– Best Visitor Economy Event, Night Visitation
– Outstanding Business Leader of the Year
– Outstanding Community Engagement
– Best Rated Cuisine – Hotels/Clubs/Restaurants
– Best Historical Venue, Visitation
– Best Music and Arts Venue
– Best Multicultural Show/Event
– Tourism Business of the Year
Nominations will close on 15 July, 2024, with the awards to be presented at a function on 24 October, 2024.
