MCEC launches new digital events platform

The new offering combines state-of the-art technology, in-house expertise, and world class facilities.

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) has launched a new end-to-end virtual and hybrid event offering, with a showcase event ‘Defy All Conventions,’ attended by more than 300 people, both online and in-person.

The event included a comprehensive demonstration of what the industry leading platform has to offer and exhibited the new ways of connecting groups and audiences.

The leading digital events platform is complemented by a comprehensive suite of virtual and hybrid event planning and delivery services. These include dedicated digital event managers, expert in-house tech support, and access to our world class events team, facilities and food and beverage for guests attending in person.

MCEC is proud to have launched this union of state-of the-art technology, in-house expertise, and world class facilities and refer to it as ‘Connected Event Design.’

MCEC chief executive officer Peter King said he is thrilled to see the centre leading the charge with world class technology.

“With developments in digital event technology, it is now possible to create authentic, high-impact connection and engagement for Virtual and Hybrid events,” King said.

“MCEC is a leader in the connected events space and the home of the unconventional and it’s so exciting to launch our new platform to ensure we move with the times and keep our customers and their audiences as engaged as possible.”
