Described as “luxurious, distinctive, elegant and intriguing,” Vignette Collection hotels, including Hotel X, are designed with authenticity and local experiences in mind, and will offer guests complimentary signature rituals that celebrate local life and culture.
“We are already a proud member of the IHG family, and to add the Vignette Collection signage to the door today as the very first hotel in the collection feels like a special moment for all involved,” Hotel X general manager Daniel Moran said.
Located in the heart of Fortitude Valley, the 5-star Hotel X is inspired by “X marks the spot”, in reference to its location and promises indulgent experiences that celebrate the iconic precinct’s food, entertainment, art and design.
“When the hotel opened nearly one year ago, we felt that it had such a distinctive blend of luxury and extravagant interior design with an ‘X’ factor that could not quite be defined.
“When Vignette was born in August this year, we agreed that there was no better fit than a brand that celebrates the individuality of our luxury hotel in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.”
The luxury lifestyle hotel features 146 rooms and suites, as well as three meeting spaces including an open terrace overlooking Brunswick Street.
The flexible function room offers 190 square meters of space that opens up onto a 50-square-metre outdoor terrace. The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests or be divided into three smaller spaces for multiple uses. Each meeting room offers services and amenities such as catering and printing.
Additionally, there is a semi-private space within the hotel’s French bistro Bisou Bisou, which can cater for 35 seated with the option of extending to a terrace for 40 pax in total. Finally, Mediterranean restaurant Iris, can be sectioned off for up to 110 pax or hired out in full for up to 300.
Guests staying at the hotel can also make full use of the rooftop swimming pool and in-house gym.
Hotel X will also implement new initiatives that will become synonymous with the Vignette Collection brand, such as partnering with a local school to support young talent wishing to pursue careers in hospitality.
