IHG Hotels & Resorts launches Meet.Stay.Play

The program includes new offers such as increased savings, flexible cancellation, and complimentary room incentives, and more.

IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its Meet With Confidence program with the addition of new offers to support the changing needs of meeting planners.

The aptly named Meet.Stay.Play program includes new offers for events booked by 30 June 2022, with meet or stay dates by 31 December. These include increased savings, flexible cancellation, and complimentary room incentives, and complements a host of innovative solutions, including the launch of IHG’s Hybrid Meeting Solutions in 2021.

Planners that book 10 to 50 guestrooms, or up to a 50-attendee catering-only event, will receive up to a 10 percent saving off the master bill, or, complimentary guestrooms, with one room complimentary for every 25 rooms booked.

They’ll also receive a flexible cancellation policy and tech-enabled tools and software for both in-person and virtual events.

IHG has also launched the IHG Business Rewards 2X which offers greater value for planners by allowing them to earn six IHG Rewards points per every USD$1 spent, up from the standard three points. The double rewards are available for eligible bookings before 30 April 2022, with meet or stay dates by 30 June 2022.

IHG Hotels & Resorts is also on track for its biggest year of hotel openings to date, with new additions including the debut of the Kimpton brand in Australia with the opening of Kimpton Margot Sydney earlier this month, and the opening of InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula in April. It will also welcome three new voco hotels – including new build hotels in Melbourne and Auckland – and a host of new Holiday Inn hotels, including the new Holiday Inn & Suites in Bondi Junction.
