Hospitality group rebrands to focus on catering, announces new roles

Group to put catering arm at forefront of new business

Legacy Hospitality Group will rebrand as Tommy Collins Group (TCG) in a move to put event catering as the major focus of the business

TCG CEO, Ben Avramides, said it’s a recognition that catering and events have always been the lifeblood of the company.

“It’s a celebration of the Group’s dedication to the art of catering and the evolution of its culinary journey,” he said.

“Legacy was established in mid-2020 to help navigate the changing hospitality landscape, by bringing our companies TCG and Bon Vivant Group under the same umbrella.

“Following some changes to our partners and TCG’s acquisition of the Post Office Club Hotel and The Villager into our established stable of venues, shifting our identity to hone in what we do best as TCG made perfect sense.”

It has announced new appointments to the group including TCG COO Geoff Haviland, Group Executive Chef Kyle Doody, GM of Venues Marcus Mooney and GM of Catering and Events Rachel Penny.

TCG will also look to grow its other offerings of The Hamptons Bakery, cafe Rumour Has It and Ladybird Cakes with the launch of a new restaurant in South Yarra in October 2023.
