Chef Matt Moran takes the culinary helm at two major Sydney stadiums

Moran and his team will bring a fresh, produce-driven approach to the food offerings at Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium.

Renowned Australian chef and Solotel restaurateur Matt Moran has been appointed culinary ambassador of Venues NSW’s Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park and CommBank Stadium in Parramatta.

Moran and his team will create bespoke menus for corporate and member experiences and bring a fresh, produce-driven approach to the wider food offering in general admission areas.

“I’m looking forward to sharing my food philosophy with the chefs who cater for such large numbers of guests at every event,” Moran said.

“The team at Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium is already committed to sourcing locally grown, fresh food which is delivered by incredible chefs. I can’t wait to share some of our ideas and offerings and lift the stadium food offering further.

“At the heart of everything I do is a passion for quality produce that is fresh and seasonal, and I’m excited by the challenge of bringing my food philosophy to life at these fantastic venues.”

Accor Stadium and CommBank Stadium chief executive officer, Darryl Kerry, said Moran will raise the bar at both venues when it comes to food options.

“Matt Moran is an Australian food icon who has a real passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences and we believe he can help us achieve a new level of in-stadium food offerings while showcasing the best of New South Wales produce,” Kerry said.
