Famil together in Brisbane

Brisbane Marketing launched its new 'Together Brisbane' famil program in August and the results speak for themselves says Annabel Sullivan director, Convention Bureau at Brisbane Marketing

Brisbane Marketing launched its new ‘Together Brisbane’ famil program in August and the results speak for themselves says Annabel Sullivan director, Convention Bureau at Brisbane Marketing.

With strong attendance, the Brisbane Marketing team is justifiably proud of its program of familiarisations in Australia’s new world city, which run from August 2011 until May 2012.

Showcasing the destination of Brisbane, the two-day Brisbane famil explored the city’s key business events venues and hotels, restaurants, galleries and sites.

A recent famil in Brisbane allowed organisers the opportunity to experience some of what the city can offer groups.

The highlights of the famil included a sashay down the catwalk at the Mercedes Fashion Festival, candle lit dinner under the stars at Victoria Park Golf Complex & Function Venue, and sumptuous luncheons at the five star Sofitel Brisbane Central and Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

All the ideas and inspiration needed to create an exceptional business event in Brisbane were presented by friendly, professional staff from across the City’s service providers.

@brismarketingCB and guests kept Twitter followers up to date with #Brisfamil progress with tweets and twitpics across the two-day famil. Don’t forget to take a look and follow @brismarketingCB for the next famil on Thursday 15 & Friday 16 September 2011.

To register your attendance at one of Brisbane’s many famils, which run until May 2012, simply click here  and a representative of Brisbane Marketing Convention Bureau will be in touch.
