All Occasions Group to deliver South Australia’s inaugural Industry Climate Change Conference

With the impact of climate change consistently on the agenda across all aspects of business within all industries, the innovative event is expected to sell out.

South Australian based All Occasions Group will manage the state’s inaugural Industry Climate Change Conference, to be held 20-21 April, 2023 at Adelaide Convention Centre.

More than 250 companies have already registered their interest in the conference that is designed to inform businesses on sustainably and economically reducing their carbon footprint.

South Australia has long been acknowledged as a leader in environmental issues, and the state-run conference further cements its position as a leader in climate change, both in terms of awareness and action, to the business events industry. Further testament to the SA’s credentials was the recent announcement that Adelaide will be the host city for the 2024 International Renewable Energy Conference

The decision makers of the economically lucrative business events sector are increasingly factoring a destination’s action on climate change and sustainability into their consideration when choosing a host city.

Anne-Marie Quinn.

“The climate issue is at the forefront of  the business events industry in which we operate and we are honoured to be charged with managing this important Industry Climate Change Conference,” All Occasions Group managing director Anne-Marie Quinn said.

“As a company, we continue to educate ourselves to be able to assist and advise our clients across the world on best practice  toward this increasingly important issue.”

All Occasions Group works on managing business events locally in South Australia as well as nationally and internationally. The company has made a concerted effort in past years to recognise not only the undertaking by destinations to become more climate aware, but is also able to advise its clients, the event organisers themselves, on how they may host a more environmentally sustainable event.

The South Australian State Government is committed to reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 50 per cent by 2030, achieving net zero emissions by 2050 and achieving 100 per cent renewable energy generation by 2030.
