Accor to open two new hotels in Sydney

Australia and New Zealand’s largest hotel operator has partnered with a renowned entrepreneur and hotelier to open the two properties.

Accor is continuing its expansion across Australia with the signing of BreakFree on Broadway Sydney and Mantra Castle Hill Sydney with hotelier Sachin Sabharwal.

Centrally located, BreakFree on Broadway Sydney features 47 refurbished guestrooms and is within easy walking distance to the city’s major attractions, including Darling Harbour and Chinatown as well as The University of Sydney and Broadway Shopping Centre. There’s a convenient onsite café, a cosy lounge area with electric fireplace, and a boardroom for up to 10 delegates.

Mantra Castle Hill Sydney offers 82 guestrooms, a well-appointed gymnasium, barbeque deck and continental breakfast offering. The hotel is located within the commercial and industrial precinct of Castle Hill and is just a three minutes’ drive from Norwest Business Park and The Hills Entertainment Centre.

Accor Pacific chief executive officer Sarah Derry said it was great to collaborate with Sabharwal and unveil two new hotels in Sydney, which will bring new opportunities for the local communities and guests.

“Sachin Sabharwal shares our passion for hospitality and our partnership will realise strong commercial benefits for the hotels through Accor’s powerful distribution engine and award-winning lifestyle loyalty program, ALL – Accor Live Limitless, along with significant extended benefits created by Accor’s major strategic partnerships with Accor Stadium, Qudos Bank Arena, and Qantas Frequent Flyers,” Derry said.

Sabharwal, who has been in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years said he has always wanted to partner with a global brand like Accor.

“I’m looking forward to what the future holds for us together,” he said.
