Lagoons

Discover Qld’s newest resort on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Looking for a new experience for your next conference or retreat? Lagoons 1770 Resort and Spa, halfway between Bundaberg and Gladstone, is the perfect base from which to explore the natural wonders of the World Heritage-listed Southern Great Barrier Reef.

Seventeen Seventy is a picturesque seaside village featuring clear waters which can be surfed all year round, and did you know it is jellyfish free? Located on the sun-drenched stretch of sub-tropical surf coastline north of Fraser Island and south of the Whitsundays, the Southern Great Barrier Reef boasts Qld’s most northern surf beach and world-class reef breaks.

Lagoons 1770 Resort and Spa is set amongst 9000 square metres of landscaped vegetation, an extensive lagoon pool and tropical island form the resort’s centrepiece. Elegantly designed accommodation features 112 Executive Studio rooms, one bedroom apartments, and two bedroom Dual Key apartments with a choice of swim-out balconies that provide direct access into the lagoon-style pool, or balcony spa baths.

The Conference Centre has four flexible rooms catering for up to 100 guests, with integrated audio visual components in each room and complimentary WiFi. Plantation Bar and Restaurant serves regional cuisine overlooking the lagoon swimming pool or poolside on the lagoon’s tropical island. Other facilities include the Anjea Day Spa offering a vast array of indulgent treatments.

Land and sea-based activities including Lady Musgrave Island Cruises, day trips to Lady Elliott Island, Larc! Amphibious Eco tours, deep sea fishing, sea and estuary kayak adventures, sunset cruises, stand-up paddle boarding, surfing school and golf are available.
