New catering for Venues NSW

Some big names will be delivering dining experiences across a number of premier venues in Sydney.

The Gema Group has won the tender to provide events catering to Accor Stadium at Sydney Olympic Park and CommBank Stadium at Parramatta.

The family-owned business won the tender from the NSW government and will be the exclusive hospitality experience partner at the venues.

The partnership will see some of Sydney’s most popular restaurants and brands available, including Al Aseel, Ribs & Burgers, The Meat and Wine Co, Five Guys, El Jannah, Sushi Hub, Roll’d and Oakberry.

At Accor Stadium, the two terraces will be transformed into event day destinations and for select events, Nobu will bring to life a premium hospitality experience.

Gema Group Managing Director, Paul Valenti, said the aim is to bring the best of western Sydney’s diverse food and wine culture into NSW’s major venues.

“We look forward to giving the millions of people who attend sporting and entertainment events the ultimate taste of Sydney,” he said.

Venues NSW CEO, Kerrie Mather, said Gema Group will revolutionise the event experience.

“We will be giving fans the ultimate choice of cuisine, reflecting the diverse communities who attend our events and Sydney’s richness of culture,” Ms Mather said.
