The Star reveals Sky Deck venues

In addition to housing the city's largest ballroom, the $3.6 billion precint will have three rooftop venues.

Three new venues atop The Star Brisbane have been revealed with a mix of outdoor event spaces and dining options.

Cicada Blu is the latest reveal of the $3.6 billion Queen’s Wharf precinct that will begin a staged opening in April 2024.

The Star says the Sky Deck will boast unparalleled and uninterrupted views 100 metres above Brisbane.

The chic rooftop venue will be joined by restaurant Aloria and the more casual bistro, Babblers.

Earlier this year, The Star gave a first glimpse of the development and opened its doors for bookings.

The property features Brisbane’s largest hotel ballroom, with the capacity to cater for up to 2000 guests.

Recently appointed GM for Food and Beverage, Dustin Osuch, said the venues will have a focus on the best of Queensland.

“[We are] supporting local producers and businesses and the amazing food and wine we have in the state,” he said.

“We have one of Australia’s best culinary apprentice programs, where we have had great success at finding and fostering homegrown talent.”
