Next Thursday (March 31) the no vacancy sign comes down and the welcome mat will be put in place for the reopening of 140 of Stamford Plaza Brisbane’s guestrooms following the Brisbane floods

During the soft opening period, Kabuki Japanese Restaurant, The Pav Bar and Kabuki 2 Go will also reopen.

With pillows fluffed, glassware gleaming and the hotel sparkling. Stamford Plaza Brisbane is back, better than ever

The hotel’s banquet floor, Brasserie Restaurant, car park and the balance of guest rooms (112 rooms) will reopen officially on April 27, 2011.

The reopening of Stamford Plaza Brisbane marks a significant milestone for the city, as it will be the last building in the CBD to reopen post floods.

“We have used this down time as an opportunity to refresh the hotel, enhancing the already luxurious guestrooms and have undertaken staff training programmes,” said general manager Kym Carter. “We are well and truly ready to welcome our guests back with our warm and genuine Stamford hospitality,” he added
