Melbourne Showgrounds is set to host the Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow and the inaugural Australian Motoring Festival for 2015.

The Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow is moving to Melbourne Showgrounds to accommodate more exhibitors and increase visitor capacity.

The first ever Australian Motoring Festival chose to host its event at Melbourne Showgrounds due to the flexible, multi-purpose capability of the spaces.

Venue managers, the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), just ploughed $2.4 million into upgrades; an investment that seems to have paid off.

RASV CEO Mark O’Sullivan said, “We are proud that Melbourne Showgrounds is Victoria’s largest and most versatile venue for trade shows, exhibitions and events. We look forward to hosting the Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow and the Australian Motoring Festival in 2015”.

“Boasting more than 19 hectares, including 36,000 square metres of undercover area, Melbourne Showgrounds is a unique event space with the flexibility to provide major events with an opportunity to enhance the exhibitor and consumer experience,” said O’Sullivan.

Victoria’s biggest leisure show, the Caravan, Camping and Touring Supershow will be held over six days from February 11 – 16 2015, while the first ever Australian Motoring Festival will be held from March 26 – 29 2015.
