Kirra Point first stage to open in November

Plans for the opening of the Coolangatta area precinct have been unveiled.

KTQ Group has unveiled plans for the first stage of its Kirra Point Precinct with two venues due to open in time for Summer.

Selling them as premium event locations directly opposite the beach, the Kirra Beach Hotel and Kirra Beach House will feature hospitality and function spaces with views across the southern Gold Coast.

KTQ Development Director, Jeremy Holmes, said the venues will open in November.

“We want locals to come here, people from all over the Gold Coast and Australia, and all become invested in the Kirra ethos and rhythm,” he said.

The hospitality venues offer a re-imagined pub, premium dining, events destinations and accommodation.

Kirra Beach House will sit directly above Kirra Beach Hotel with 1200spm of elevated event spaces, beachfront dining and a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces available to host functions, parties and galas.

The spaces can be transformed and discreetly sectioned off to accommodate launches, cocktail parties and weddings featuring anything from a formal seated dinner to a barbecue on the terrace.

Part of the plan for stage two of the precinct will include a second residential apartment tower, a boutique hotel and carefully laneway retail.
