Inside DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs’ $6m refurb

The hotel now offers a contemporary guest experience in the NT.

DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs has unveiled its fresh new look, following a four-month refurbishment program.

The hotel has invested $6 million to revamp its 235 guest rooms and suites, to give guests a contemporary experience in the Northern Territory city.

“The renovation is the first step in a new chapter – not just for the hotel, but for the entire destination,” said hotel manager Giorgio Romein.

“Our refreshed hotel will help meet the growing need for quality accommodations in Alice Springs, and I am confident our team will deliver a guest experience that rivals the finished product, resulting in a premier experience for our guests.”

Each of the rooms now feature DoubleTree Sweet Dreams Sleep Experience beds, contemporary lounges, new dining and balcony furniture, new ergonomic office desks and chairs, adjustable LED lighting and modern bathroom fittings.

Connectivity throughout the hotel has also been upgraded, including 55-inch smart televisions in each room.

Describing the inspiration behind the hotel makeover, Chaitanya Rane, cluster commercial director at Hilton Northern Territory, said the rooms are designed to provide a sense of contemporary comfort and understated indulgence.

“As the leading hotel in the market, we look forward to offering our unparalleled service with a new product that appeals to travellers all around the globe and here at home,” he said.

DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs is located 15 kilometers from Alice Springs Airport, and within walking distance of downtown and the Alice Springs Convention Centre.
