Renovations begin at DoubleTree Alice Springs

The refurb will bring the hotel's rooms and suites up to a modern standard.

DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs has begun a series of refurbishments across the Northern Territory property.

Encompassing all 235 rooms and suites, the renovation commenced in November and is scheduled for completion in April 2020.

Hotel manager Giorgio Romein said the team is excited to offer a “completely new product” to guests.

“This is part of our continued commitment to enhance our property and service,” he said.

“Enhancing the comfort and sophistication of our rooms and suites will further strengthen DoubleTree by Hilton’s position as one of Alice Springs’ leading hotels and provide a new benchmark for deluxe accommodation that today’s frequent travellers deserve.”

Set against the MacDonnell Mountain Ranges, DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs is located 15 kilometres from Alice Springs Airport and within walking distance of downtown.

The refurbished guest rooms and suites will offer balconies with garden and mountain views, generous work areas, luxurious bedding and internet access.

The property also features indoor and outdoor event spaces for up to 400 delegates, modern Australian restaurant Saltbush, a 24-hour fitness centre and an 18-hole golf course located next door.
